MEET OUR STAFF

Mrs. Cox is a Cincinnati native who has been teaching orchestra for over fifteen years. She is the FHSD Orchestra Chair and Assistant Director of Cincinnati Junior Strings, which recently performed at the Sydney Opera House.

Mrs. Bierschenk has been teaching music for 35 years, 15 of which have been at Turpin High School teaching orchestra and AP Music Theory. She is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and singer.

Ms. Poffenberger has been teaching strings over 25 years. Before teaching for Forest Hills, she directed orchestras in Virginia and Arizona. She plays viola professionally in several regional orchestras.
